This year, visitors of the “Cultural Summer” at Zlatibor will be a part of an out-of-series concert spectacle under the open sky. On August 19th, starting at 9 p.m., two of the most representative ensembles in Serbia, the Radio Television of Serbia Symphony Orchestra and the Choir, led by conductor Bojan Sudjic, with great soloists, soprano Snežana Savičić Sekulić, tenor Stevan Karanc, and baritone Dragutin Matić, will perform one of the most famous pieces of classical music, “Carmina Burana” by Karl Orff. Created from a forgotten collection of manuscripts, “Carmina Burana” was inspired by the verses of medieval singers, musicians, and philosophers about their everyday life – love, religion, and relationship with nature. The images of that time, the simplicity and rhythm of life made it interesting for all ages. Opera and pop music lovers from all over the world are certainly going to enjoy this performance during “Cultural Summer” at Zlatibor.
