ALESSANDRO CRUDELE AND ANJA MALKOV AT THE FIRST CONCERT OF THE “PREMIJERE” CYCLE
At the first concert of the “Premijere” cycle, in the 2019/2020 season, which will be held on November 7, at 8 pm, in the Great Hall of the Kolarceva zaduzbina, the main guest conductor of the RTS Symphony Orchestra, Alessandro Crudele, will be introduced to the audience, one of the most versatile Italian conductors of today.
The premiere at the concert will be composition of Milana Milosevic “Toward the Clouds“. This work was composed in 2018, inspired by nature, the sounds of thunder and rain, which the author, introducing electronics, modifies through various interventions, creating a special sound support for the sound of the symphony orchestra.
The same evening, to the audience will be introduced young flutist Anja Malkov, selected at the ‘’’Mladi i uspesni’’ contest of the RTS Music Production. She will perform as a soloist in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Second Concerto for Flute and Orchestra, in D major, K 314”, which is considered as one of the most significant concerts of the flute repertoire.
In addition to the mentioned works, the RTS Symphony Orchestra will also perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Second Symphony”, which differs from other author’s symphonic works by its cheerfulness and mood. However, after the premiere, the Viennese music public was not thrilled with the new Beethoven piece. One of the critics even wrote that the symphony was “like a dragon blowing fire from its mouth, waving its tail and spreading mud all over.” However, the composition, like many throughout music history, has surpassed the time in which it was made, and is still in the repertoire of various orchestra ensembles.
