The RTS Choir and Symphony Orchestra will be performing with Croatian conductor Tomislav Facini at a concert on June 11 in the Kolarac Concert Hall. For their performance, they chose the music of the Estonian composer Arva Pert (1935) and the French composer Maurice Dirifle (1902-1986). Two vocal-instrumental spiritual compositions will be performed from Perth’s opus – “Salve Regina” and “Da Pacem, Domine”, as well as “Two Slavic Psalms”, written in the Church Slavonic language. The audience will get to know Dirifle’s music through his masterpiece – “Requiem”, which was inspired by Gregorian chant. Višnja Radosav, alto, Ljubomir Milanović, baritone, and organist Zoltan Borbelj will perform as soloists at the concert.
