On Saturday, 27 October, 2018, at 20:00, at the Belgrade Youth Center, an American jazz trumpeter and one of the greatest trumpet stars of the world jazz scene, Bobby Shew, will be the guest of the RTS Big Band.

This extraordinary artist and instrumentalist was a member of the best big bands of jazz history – Tom Dorsey, Woody Herman, Buddy Rich.

He collaborated with orchestras of Louie Bellson, Maynard Ferguson, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Terry Gibbs, Don Menza.

The sound of his trumpet is on hundreds of jazz releases, and along with his performing career, he is very dedicated to pedagogical work in America, as well as, at the most famous European jazz academies.
