RADIO TELEVISION OF SERBIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AND STEFAN MILENKOVIC
Stefan Milenkovic, one of the leading violinists of today, will perform at the concert of the RTS Symphony Orchestra, which will be held at the Great Hall of Kolarac endowment on December 23, at 8 p.m.. The audience will have the oportunity to listen to him as a soloist in one of the most beautiful , but also very demanding concertos for violin of the famous composer Pyotir Ilyaich Tchaikovsky. In addition to this composition, Camille Saint-Seanses „Symphony No. 3“, which is also know as „Organ Symphony“, will be part of the program, in which the organist Zoltan Borbely will also perform. This piece is considered a historical achivement in the work of this French composer, who in a uniqe way sublimaed the sonority of organs, which are known as the „Queen of instruments“, and large orchestral ensemble. The conductor will be maestro Bojan Sudjic.
Violinist Stefan Milenkovic is an artist of a world class. Even as a child he showed a talent of a violin virtouso, which by carefuly building it with eminent pedagogues led him to true mastery. As an artist he performed in the worlds biggest concert halls, with leading orchestral ensembles and conductors. This versatile artist has proved himself in other music genres as well, showing that the world class art has no boundaries.
RTS Symphony Orchestra, one of the most representative orchestral ensembles in Serbia, is today an modern ensemble, which operates within RTS Music production, and follows world trends in the interpretation of music. His repertoire includes signficant symphonic, concert and vocal-instrumental pieces of domestic and foreign literature, as well as music of popular genres.
