World Day of Music with RTS Symphony Orchestra, LP duo, and maestro Bojan Sudjic
Feel worldly on Worlds Day of Music! Experience the music of Impressionism through unforgettable pieces – “Prelude for the afternoon of a fauna” by Claude Debussy and “Daphnis and Chloe” and “Bolero” by Maurice Ravel. And also get to know the world of
minimalism by listening to “Concerto for Two Pianos” by one of the most famous contemporary English composers – Michael Nyman. This piece will be performed by the LP duo. The RTS Symphony Orchestra, Sonja Lončar, and Andrija Pavlović, along with maestro Bojan Sudjić, will make this ceremony special!

LP Duo started as classical trained musicians, but their research and work on different projects brought them music somewhere in between classical and popular music.
As solo musicians and piano duo they won so far over 30 awards at international music competitions.
So far they have performed successfully on the festivals, concert halls and tours all over the Europe, USA and in Singapore. They performed on a humanitarian concert for the UNICEF in Germany. In 2014 they debuted at the Carnegie Hall in New York, and in 2015 they performed for the first time at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
They performed as soloists with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, RTS Symphony Orchestra, Belgrade Strings, Orchestra of the National Theatre in Belgrade and Žebeljan Orchestra. LP Duo gave premieres of more than 50 contemporary pieces, among which several world premieres. Many composers have dedicated their music to LP Duo. Their discography encompasses seven collaborative albums released in Serbia, Croatia, Denmark and Netherlands, and the new album “Duality” signed to Universal Music Serbia as their new home label, representing for the first time all music completely written, arranged and produced by LP Duo and performed on their own invented, Hybrid Pianos.
Leading name among Serbian music conductors, Bojan Sudjic is a chief conductor of the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of Radio Television of Serbia. He is also a full professor of conducting at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.
Performing with various ensembles, maestro Sudjic accomplishes the mission of presenting new works of domestic authors and those lesser-known or, due to their complexity, rarely performed works of world historical heritage. Since his return to the RTS, as the artistic director and conductor in 2005, Maestro Bojan Sudjic has been continually expanding the repertoire of the RTS Symphony Orchestra and Choir, gaining recognition of the music audience for the high quality of performed concerts and recordings.
RTS Symphony Orchestra is a modern ensemble, which operates within the RTS Music Production, keeping pace with the world tendencies in the interpretation of music. Its repertoire includes significant symphonic, concert and vocal-instrumental pieces of domestic and foreign literature. In its history the Symphony Orchestra premiered many works of prominent contemporary domestic artists of various generations, and some of these pieces were dedicated to it. The program also includes opera and operetta literature, as well as music of popular genres. It is actively present at concert podiums, in the media and in important social events, positioning itself as a prestigious performer, ready for the most artistic accomplishments.
