Tchaikovsky’s night of music
RTS Symphony Orchestra dedicates the firtst concert in December to the music of the Russian composer Pyotir Ilyaich Tchaikovsky. The program will include „Symphony No. 5 in E minor“,one of the biggest achivements of this composer, as well as the famous „Concerto for piano and orchestra in B flat minor, op. 23“ and the young pianist Bogdan Dugalic will perform as a soloist, while the conductor will be maestro Bojan Sudjic.
Concert will be held on December 2, 2021 at 8PM, in the Great Hall of Kolarac endowment.
Bogadan Dugalic belongs to the youngest generation of pianists. With his interpretations he drew the attention of professional public, but also of the audience. He is one of the laureates of the RTS Music production competition „Young and successful“. Compositions, which will be performed at the concert, in different ways depict this prominent composer of the 19th century. In the sound of the „Fifth symphony“, one can recognise his obssesion with the theme of mans alienation in the grayness of everyday life, his inabilty to find at least the subtle light that will break through. „Piano concerto“ is one of the greatest challenges for any performer, and it carries a completly different, exciting sensibility.
