The world pianist star Denis Matsuev will perform with the Radio Television of Serbia Symphony Orchestra and maestro Dejan Savić at a concert that will be held on a new date, on April 3, in the Kolarac Concert Hall.
Matsuev will present to the Belgrade audience one of the most demanding works, the famous “Second Concerto for Piano and Orchestra” by Sergei Rachmaninoff, piece that has excited the audience with its power and poetics since its premiere in 1902. It is also an opportunity to find out, why critics call Matsuev a representative of the real Russian school of performers – Volodos, Kissin, and Gilels and announce him as the “new Horovitz”. On the same evening, “Serenade No. 1, in D major, op. 11” by Johannes Brahms, a composition that stirred the audience at the premiere, and the long-lasting applause behind each of the six movements was so strong that it did not subside until the composer took the stage.
The concert starts at 8 p.m.
Purchased tickets for the concert that was planned, for January 25 will also be valid for the new date of the concert. Anyone interested in returning tickets will be allowed to do so.
Tickets are on sale at the box office of the Kolarac endowment and online via kolarac.rs
