Siniša Vićentijević (Niš, 1965) received his primary and secondary education in his hometown. At only six years old, he became fond of the accordion, and at the age of thirteen passed the Radio Belgrade audition for Otvoreni studio 6 as one of its youngest candidates.

He graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of academian and professor Svetislav Božić in the field of Harmony with harmonic analysis.

From 1990 to 1993, he worked as a music associate in Jutarnji program and Beogradski program of Radio Television of Serbia, and from 1993 to 2000, he worked as a music associate and music editor in the Music Department of the RTS.

Since 2000, he has been a member of the Folk Ensemble of the Radio Television of Serbia. He was the deputy head of the orchestra from 2008 to 2015, when he took over the leadership of the Folk Ensemble. With his professional responsibility at work, his knowledge of the folk music of Serbia and the traditional music of its neighboring countries, he continuously contributes to the improvement and development of the National Radio-Television Ensemble of Serbia.

For several years, he was the president of the artistic commission of the Union of Pop Music Artists of Serbia.

He is the author of numerous compositions and arrangements. In his long musical career, for his artistic work, he has received a number of awards and recognitions, including: the Status of an outstanding artist of the Republic of Serbia, the Lifetime Achievement Award, the National Artist of the Republic of Serbia award and others.

As a member of numerous music festivals and events held throughout Serbia and the diaspora, he has, as an accordion soloist and artistic leader of the Folk Ensemble successfully represented the musical culture of our nation. In his work so far, he has produced more than a thousand television and radio shows, as well as a large number of recorded tracks that are permanently stored in the Sound Archive of Radio Television of Serbia and are broadcast on all programs of our house.
