LJILJANA RANĐELOVIĆ
She has been conducting the Kolibri Choir since 2012. Together they have held numerous solo concerts, as well as concerts with the ensembles of the RTS Music Production: the Big Band, the Symphony Orchestra, the Choir, the Folk Orchestra, the Folk Ensemble and the RTS Children’s Choir. She has prepared the choir for some significant performances within the RTS Music Production, such as Hänsel and Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck (2024, conducted by Srboljub Dinić) and Passion Week by Maximilian Steinberg (2024). She has also collaborated with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra in the concert performances of the opera Tosca by Giacomo Pucini and Symphony No. 3 by Gustav Mahler (conducted by Gabriel Feltz). She has held a multitude of exceptional concerts in Belgrade, Srbobran, Pančevo, Tršić, Lazarevac, Kragujevac, Novi Sad, Mladenovac, Kikinda, Smederevo, Aleksandrovac and others, as well as abroad – in Budva (Theatre City) and Vienna.
Together with the Kolibri Choir, she has released three CD editions for PGP RTS: Kolibri Planeta (2013), Sa radošću za Kolibre veliku i malu decu (2018, in collaboration with songwriter Nikola Čuturilo and youth actors-interpreters) and Najlepša luka (2024, to mark the 60-year anniversary of the Kolibri Choir). A number of songs from all three CDs gained great popularity in the children’s music genre, and have additionally enriched children’s choral literature.
Along with the choir, she is an active performer at charity concerts of the UNICEF and NURDOR organisations, thus having the opportunity to perform with the celebrated violinists nemanja Radulović and Stefan Milenković.
Alongside the Kolibri Choir, she recieved the first prize among more than 100 other contestants at the European Music Festival for Young People in Neerpelt (Belgium, 2016).
On a professional level, she has established great collaborations with the embassies of Sweden, Belgium, Greece, Austria, the Czech Republic and others.
She is the recipient of several awards, including the SEMUS acknowledgement (Savez estradnih umetnika Srbije) for the development in the field of music, and the Golden Link of the Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade, for her selfless, commited and long-term work and creative contribution. On the occasion of the 60 year anniversary of the Kolibri Choir, it was, along with Ljiljana Ranđelović, awarded the Sretenje Order of the Third Degree for cultural excellence (2024).
