Nenad Kamidžorac

Editor-in-Chief of the folk music department
Nenad Kamidžorac graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 1989.

Since 1997, he has been the music editor of Radio Belgrade, on the classical music programme Stereorama. Since 1988, he has been a freelance associate and author of TV features on Television Belgrade (Beogradska hronika, Jutarnji program). Since 1993, he has been employed full-time as a music editor on Radio Belgrade’s First Programme.

For the RTS Television, he has worked as a specialist consultant for folk music (60 Most Beautiful Folk Songs), as a host and editor of the programme Ide Mile, in the production of the New Year’s Programme, and the programme Zapis u Vremenu (surrounding the 90th anniversary of the RTS Folk Orchestra), Veselo Veče (surrounding the occasion of Radio Belgrade’s jubilee), and various other special projects.

He worked as a music consultant for an externally produced programme Sasvim Prirodno, as well as a consultant responsible for hosting and organising public recordings of music programmes for the radio and television, and for live broadcasts of concerts (60th Anniversary of RTS Television; 99 and 100 Years of Radio Belgrade) and others.

He is one of the initiators of Saborna Muzika Srbije which he independently organised in 2019 and 2020. He is the conceptual creator and author of major folk music TV programmes of Radio Belgrade – Muzička Pletenica and Mi sa vama.

He is the recipient of numerous awards, such as the Golden Badge of the Cultural and Educational Society of Serbia (2020), and the City of Belgrade Award – Despot Stefan Lazarević (2022, pop music award), as well as the SEMUS Lifetime Achievement Award and others.

Since October 2025, he has held the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Folk Music Department of the RTS Music Production.
