The music of two great masters – Edward Elgar and Ludwig van Beethoven – will be performed at the RTS Symphony Orchestra concert in the Grand Hall of the Kolarac Endowment on May 16, starting at 8 p.m.
The solo part in Elgar’s famous “Cello Concerto” will be performed by cellist Nikola Jovanović. From the same composer’s oeuvre, the piece “Nimrod” from the “Enigma Variations” will also be performed, while in the second part of the concert the audience will have the opportunity to hear Beethoven’s “Seventh Symphony.” The orchestra will be conducted by Premil Petrović.
