One of the greatest opera divas, Ana Netrebko, who triumphed on the big stage of the magnificent ancient Arena in Verona at the premiere of the opera Aida, arrives in Belgrade, where she will perform for the first time in front of the Serbian audience on World Music Day, June 21 at the prestigious musical event Belgrade River Fest.
The famous tenor Jusif Ejvazov and the most famous Serbian opera baritone Željko Lučić will share the stage with Ana. The well-known native of Zrenjan is not the only local performer who will accompany the famous Netrebko. As many as 160 Serbian musicians will perform on the stage with the greatest prima donna of the 21st century – members of the Radio Television of Serbia Symphony Orchestra and Choir. Netrebko will perform the most famous opera arias from the operas of Verdi and Puccini, and a special encore is being prepared just for our audience, accompanied by magnificent fireworks, which will light up Belgrade on both sides of the river.
This opera gala spectacle, the likes of which the audience in Serbia has not had the opportunity to see, will be held in a specially built open-air concert hall on the plateau of the Geozavoda in Belgrade on the water.
