„CAREVAC NA VRAČARU“

September 7, 2023 │ 19:00 │ St. Sava Temple

The event “Царевац на Врачару” opens the manifestation “Days of European Cultural Heritage on Vračar 2023,” which is part of a large European event that preserves and promotes the diversity of cultural heritage. The concert will be held on Thursday, September 7, starting at 7 PM, on the plateau in front of the Saint Sava Temple, and the event will be opened by Dragi Lukić, a member of the Vračar Municipal Council.

The program will feature prominent vocal soloists Danica Krstić and Aleksandar Tirnanić, the male choir “Srpski Božur” from Ribaševo, and violinist Ena Bojić, the winner of this year’s “Царевчеви дани” competition. The participants will be accompanied by the National Orchestra of Radio-Television Serbia, conducted by Vlada Panović. The program will be hosted by actor Milan Milosavljević.

This unique cultural event is held every September on Vračar in honor of the famous violinist Vlastimir Pavlović Царевац. A top violinist and expert in folk music, he contributed significantly to our culture, primarily through founding and leading the National Orchestra of Radio Belgrade. Царевац was a lawyer by education, but the violin and traditional folk music were his true passion.

We invite citizens to attend this important cultural event on Vračar. See you at the concert!
