In honor of the composer Stevan Stojanović Mokranjac, a giant of Serbian music, born in Negotin, the Radio Television of Serbia Choir, together with its chief conductor Srboljub Dinić, will hold a concert at the 59th “Mokranjac Days” on Wednesday, September 17, starting at 8:30 p.m., in the Cultural Center, in Negotin.
On that occasion, the RTS Choir will perform fragments from Mokranjac’s Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, Opelo, Second, Third, Fifth, and Seventh Garland, and the well-known choral composition Primorski napjevi will round off the concert.
Come and celebrate together the legacy of the composer who brought Serbian music into the ranks of European artistic values.
