The Radio Television Serbia Big Band will perform on Thursday, May 18, at the JazzHR Festival – Spring edition, in Zagreb’s culture hall, “Tvornica”.
This esteemed jazz festival, where in addition to domestic and foreign artists and ensembles are presented, has been going on for more than two decades and was created as an artistic project of the Croatian Society of Composers with the idea of promoting jazz in Croatia. The festival is held twice a year – spring and autumn editions.
At this concert, the conductor will be Vladimir Krnetić, and RTS Big Band will play with the stars of the new generation of jazz from the region, composers/arrangers and soloists – Dina Rizvić, vocals (HR), Jaka Kopač, alto saxophone (SLO), Vladimir Kostadinović, drums (SRB), Ajda Stina Turek, vocals (SLO), Davor Križić, trumpet (HR), as well as the soloists of the RTS Big Band. The concert will also feature instrumental works by famous former members of the RTS Big Band and composers/arrangers – Duško Gojković and Zvonimir Skerl.
