The RTS Big Band, an orchestra that has been a symbol of top artistic achievements in jazz music for over 75 years, will officially open the 41st Belgrade Jazz Festival on October 22nd at 7 p.m. in the Kolarac Concert Hall. Under the leadership of the legendary jazz trumpetist Stjepko Gut, who is chief conductor of the RTS Big Band, they will perform a program dedicated to the centenary of the birth of Bora Roković and the famous Yugoslav All Stars Band. This evening will be an opportunity to pay tribute to the greats of Serbian and Yugoslav jazz – a sumptuous and authentic celebration of tradition, and current achievements of the domestic jazz scene.
