We invite you to the concert of one of the best ensembles in the region – the Croatian Radiotelevision Choir, which will be held in the Great Hall of the Kolarac Concert Hall, on Tuesday, March 18, at 8 p.m. The program of this Choir, which will be led by the conductor Tomislav Fačini, will include the music of one of the most prominent Croatian composers – Boris Papandopoulos. Soprano Darija Auguštan, mezzo-soprano Martina Gojčeta Silić, tenor Stjepan Franetović, and baritone Robert Kolar will perform as soloists at the concert.
Papandopoulos’s Croatian Mass is one of the most significant works of Croatian choral literature of the 20th century. Composed at the end of the 1930s, it gained a considerable place on the stage only in the 1980s, and today it is considered a representative of this composer’s oeuvre.
