Today, the new concert season was launched at the RTS CLUB, marking the 85th anniversary of the RTS Symphony Orchestra. The press conference was enhanced by members of the RTS Symphony Orchestra quartet: violinists Katarina Aleksić and Ivana Zavišić, violist Marina Popović, and cellist Jovana Jočić. The moderator of the conference was Dr. Aleksandra Paladin, musicologist, and the speakers addressing the present journalists were Dragoslav Stanisavljević, Executive Director of RTS Music Production, Ana Bogdanović Radić, Editor-in-Chief of the Symphony Music Department, and Srba Dinić, Principal Guest Conductor of the RTS Symphony Orchestra.
In 2022, this renowned ensemble will share the stage with some of today’s leading artists, including pianists Martha Argerich and Kemal Gekić, violinists Roman Simović and Daniel Roland, cellist Maja Bogdanović, violist Saša Mirković, and the LP Duo. They will perform in extraordinary musical events with conductors Bojan Suđić, Srba Dinić, Luis Gorelik, Dian Čobanov, Tomislav Fačini, Aleksandar Kojić, Olivera Sekulić Barać, and the audience will also have the opportunity to hear rising stars such as pianist Ivan Bašić and percussionist Vivi Vasiljević. The RTS Symphony Orchestra will also celebrate its anniversary with performances with the RTS Choir, presenting some of the most monumental works of world music literature. Additionally, by participating in all the major festivals in the country, such as FEST, BELEF, BEMUS, NOMUS, and MOKRANJČEVI DAYS, the RTS Symphony Orchestra is firmly asserting its central role in Serbia’s cultural life.
Through today’s promotion, RTS Music Production also demonstrated that it represents a modern artistic system with seven different ensembles, possessing exceptional artistic potential, which has been showcased on many concert stages across the country.
