Yesterday, in Belgrade, at a ceremony held at the National Theatre, the “Zlatni Beočuk” awards were presented. These awards are given by the Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade for a lasting contribution to the culture of the capital.

One of the recipients of this prestigious award is Dragoslav Stanisavljević, the Executive Director of the Music Production of Radio-Television Serbia (RTS).

Dragoslav Stanisavljević is one of the most significant jazz musicians of today. A former lead trumpet of the RTS Big Band, from 2010 to 2019 he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Jazz and Entertainment Music Editorial Department. From 2019 to 2021, he worked as the Responsible Music Editor of RTS Music Production and the Music Director of the RTS Big Band. Since 2021, when he became the Executive Director of RTS Music Production, with a new vision, dedicated work, and positive programmatic and organizational changes, the ensembles of RTS Music Production, with him at the helm, have become the cornerstone of Serbia’s cultural life.
