This summer, the fourth edition of the Belgrade River Fest, a festival that has become synonymous with refinement and the ultimate musical experience, will be held at a new location, next to the Sava River itself.
Under a clear sky and in an environment that exudes elegance, on June 10, on the specially built luxurious concert stage at the foot of the Belgrade Tower, exclusively for the first time in this part of the world, the Spanish diva Luz Casal (Casal) will perform with the RTS Symphony Orchestra. This musical spectacle will once again prove why Belgrade River Fest bears the epithet of one of the most significant musical events in the region.
After musical giants such as Andrea Bocelli, Nick Cave, Mariza, Anna Netrebko, Jasmin Levy, and Antonis Remos shone on the festival stage in previous years, this year’s program promises more unforgettable evenings filled with passion and artistic brilliance.
The second night of the festival is reserved for the great Luz Casal, a Spanish musical icon whose voice carries the passion of the Mediterranean. Her legendary hits “Un año de amor” and “Piensa en mí” will be given a new, grandiose look accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Radio and Television of Serbia, providing the audience with a unique experience colored by the notes of the most beautiful film music.
Luz Casal, in collaboration with Magnifico, sang the famous song “Pukni zoro” in Spanish.
This emotional interpretation, entitled “Madrugadas” won the audience’s hearts and established Luz Casal as a favorite artist in this area. During her prosperous career, in which she collaborated with Oscar winner Pedro Almodovar, she received prestigious awards such as the Latin Grammy for Lifetime Achievement, the French Order of Arts and Letters, the Goya Award, as well as the keys to the cities of Paris and Madrid.
Belgrade River Fest is more than a festival it’s an experience, a combination of elegance, art, and unforgettable moments under the starry sky.
