Today, under  the jurisdiction of Music Production is also organising, independently or in collaboration with related cultural organisations and institutions, public events and concerts in the country and abroad, public performance and recording of incidental music, preserving programs for children and youth, cooperation with European and world cultural institutions, as well as with domestic and foreign conductors, performers, authors and arrangers, along with the production and sale of music tracks on sound and image carriers, and publishing.

The affirmation of national culture makes a distinctive feature in the communication significance of Music production ensemble and it gives exclusivity to the public service program. Its ensembles are positioned as strategically important in order to promote and publicly present the national cultural heritage. Transparency of the ensembles’ work, both through the media and continuous presence in the concert podiums, especially contributes to the affirmation.

For the above reasons, the RTS Music production, its products and the work of ensembles are defined today as key moderators of musical and cultural life of Serbia and are inextricably linked to the mapping of cultural content throughout the country.
