RTS Music Production organizes audition for admission of new RTS Children’s Choir members.

Children from 10 to 13 years old can apply for the audition.  Application forms are on the mp.rts.rs website. Send completed applications on the email address: protokol.mp@rts.rs

The deadline for submission is November 4, 2019. Subsequently you will be notified on the exact time of the audition.

Kolibri Choir will be presented to the audience in Bogatic in Dom kulture, October 26, at 6pm. On program will be the most famous songs from the rich repertoire of this ensemble, by which is recognized and remembered by many generations. The entrance on the concert is free, and conductor is Ljiljana Randjelovic.

Big Bend RTS will perform at the first concert within the 20TH International Jazz Festival in Kragujevac, which will be held in its jubilee edition in interval from October 24 to October 26. This ensemble will perform on the Knjazevacko-srpski theater big stage, at 8 pm, and the organizers will announce them as one of “the oldest European orchestra of its type, with a 70 years tradition, whose concerts are unforgettable”.

In addition to the Big Bend RTS, for which concert is great interest, during the three festival days the audience will have the opportunity to hear some of the most popular European jazz musicians.

UNICEF invites you to a charity concert on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child: 13 November 2019, at 8 pm at Sava Center. At the concert will perform: Kolibri Choir, Nemanja Radulovic and Stefan Milenkovic with accompanying musicians.

The RTS Choir will perform as a guest in the concert of the Croatian Radio Television Choir and Symphony Orchestra, jointly performing one of the most monumental scores of the era of romanticism – “The German Requiem” by Johannes Brahms. The concert will be held at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb, Thursday, October 31, starting at 7.30pm. Distinguished artists, soprano Kornelija Ptasek and bass baritone Kresimir Strazanac, will perform as soloists under the baton of Tomislav Facini.

The concert in the Lisinski Concert Hall will be broadcast directly by the Third Channel of Croatian Radio.

The German Requiem is one of the most important pieces from the Brahms’s oeuvre. It is based on a biblical text, in a German translation by Martin Luther. In the form we know it today, with the subsequently composed fifth movement – for soprano soloist and choir, it was completed in 1869, when it was first performed in the Gevandhaus Hall in Leipzig. Although the composer never revealed to whom “Requiem” was dedicated, or what inspired its creation, it is thought to have been the loss of two extremely close persons to Brahms – his mother and Robert Schumann – his mentor and “spiritual father”, as he often called him.

Like every year, and this year`s audition for the Kolibri Choir had a huge interest. In a few days, more than hundred kids between 4 and 8 years has shown their vocal skills in front of four member commission.

On the competition applied 72 candidates.

The candidates will be heard in front of commission from October 25, at the Radio Belgrade Tower. The set of compositions can be downloaded on www.mp.rts.rs on October 10.
