Choir “Kolibri” at the 37th festival “Grad Teatar” Budva
On Monday, July 3, in Budva, on the stage between the churches the “Kolibri” choir, which celebrating its 60th birthday this year will perform. One of the most famous children’s choirs from this area will announce the 37th festival “Grad Teatar” Budva, which will last from July 5 to August 22. The choir will perform a special program of the most beautiful songs for children from its rich repertoire for the children from Budva, but also for all generations who grew up with unforgettable texts and melodies.
This unique children’s choir, with a recognizable singing culture and appealing interpretations, was founded in 1963. by Milica Manojlović and she was longtime conductor of this youngest ensemble within the Radio Television of Serbia Music Production. The choir is now led by Ljiljana Ranđelović. Choir “Kolibri” has held over a hundred concerts in the country and abroad, participated in audio dramas, television shows and series, as well as in films. He has seven audio cassettes, 19 single releases, 42 long-play gramophone records and four PGP-RTB/RTS CDs behind him. Exceptional artistic achievements have brought this choir a number of awards.
