In 2019, The RTS Music production opens again the “Contest for composers”, who are interested in their work being performed and recorded by our ensembles. Orchestral, choral and vocal-instrumental works come into consideration.

The first contest for composers, opened in 2017, drawn attention to a large number of creators of different generations interested in their works being performed, and then recorded by the RTS Symphony Orchestra and Choir. These renowned ensembles, through their history for more than eight decades, nurtured a program policy which has always been focused on the affirmation and public presentation of the work of domestic creators. More than 90 artists of different generations, from all over the country, have entered into fierce competition, and 17 compositions for the orchestra and 6 for choir were selected, the majority of which the audience has already had the opportunity to hear in the Concert Hall of Kolarac Endowment.

Encouraged by the great interest and awareness that it is necessary to actively participate in the affirmation of the national culture, the RTS Music production opens this year a contest, which is held from 15 March to 15 April.

All interested should submit a biography, sheet music and computer realization on the email pressmp@rts.rs or by mail to the RTS Music Production, Hilandarska 2, 11000 Belgrade, with the note “Contest for composition”.
