Leticia Moreno and Antonio Mendez with the RTS Symphony Orchestra
Welcome the winter with the temperamental sound of the RTS Symphony Orchestra! At the concert organized on the occasion of the end of the Spanish presidency of the Council of the European Union, on December 14, in the Kolarac Concert Hall, starting at 8 p.m., the “Spanish Symphony” by Édouard Lalo, a famous concertante-symphonic work, will be performed, in which the violinist Leticia Moreno will play as a soloist. Find out why critics call this versatile artist “the most exciting performer of her generation” especially highlighting her charisma and virtuosity. Her numerous performances with famous orchestras brought her standing ovations on world music stages. In addition to the music of Lalo, the audience will have the opportunity to hear the ballet suite from the opera “Le Cid” by Gilles Massenet, as well as the First Suite from the ballet “The Three-cornered Hat” by Manuel de Falla, imbued with the music of Andalusia. The conductor will be Antonio Mendez, a Spanish conductor, one of the most sought-after conductors today, who performs worldwide with leading orchestras.
The concert will realized in cooperation the Embassy of Spain in Belgrade, the Kolarac Endowment and RTS Music Production.
