CHAMBER MUSIC OF HAYDN, MOZZARTT AND BEETHOVEN
Three members of the RTS Symphony Orchestra concertmaster violin Katarina Aleksić, solo oboe Ivana Dakić and viola Marina Popović, along with the guest, cellist Tomasz Pokrzywinsk (Poland), will hold two concerts in Belgrade. Their program will include works by Haydn, Mozzart and Beethoven. With the music of a group of authors known as “Viennese classics”, these artists join the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven.
The audience will have the opportunity to listen to this chamber quartet in the Gallery of the City Municipality of Vračar, on Thursday, November 5, and in the Cultural Institution “Parobrod”, on Friday, November 6th . The concerts start at 7 p.m.
Their idea is that “in a smaller ensemble (in this case, a string trio and quartet with oboe) in a smaller space, with a limited number of audiences, respecting all measures against infection, because we think it’s important that concerts live, through our skills, and through the enjoyment of the listeners. We believe that it is a time for chamber music, a time for joint efforts, mutual support and good will. It’s time for music and beauty to overcome fear. “
