The RTS Symphony Orchestra with world-famous soloists opens the Belgrade Cello Fest
The Belgrade Cello Fest, dedicated to the art of playing the cello as a solo instrument and in the most diverse sound combinations, is being held this year for the fourteenth time, from November 23 to 30, organized by the Center of Belgrade Festivals – CEBEF. This year’s Cello Fest will be officially opened by the RTS Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Aleksandar Kojić, with the favorites of the Belgrade audience – violinist Roman Simović and cellist Dragan Đorđević, as well as the exceptional Macedonian pianist Dino Imeri, as soloists in Ludwig van Beethoven’s Triple Concerto. The program also includes the popular Symphony No. 9 “From the New World” by Antonin Dvořák. The concert is realized in cooperation with RTS Music Production.
