“Chantings and Prayers” is the name of the new and upcoming concert of the RTS Choir. The program of this renowned choral ensemble will include the works of Alfred Schnittke and Georgi Sviridov, two composers whose death anniversaries – 25 years – will be marked with this concert. The audience will also have the opportunity to hear the compositions of Arvo Pert and Hilarion Alfejev. With this program, the RTS Choir and conductor Hadži Jakov Milutinović will present creators who have, with their ouvre, largely determined the course of the development of the Orthodox choral genre. The concert will be held in the Crypt of the Church of St. Sava on Wednesday, May 24, at 7:30 p.m. Entrance to the concert is free.
