55 years of Kolibri world
One of the most popular children’s choir ensembles, the Choir “Kolibri”, will mark its 55th birthday with a concert entitled “55 Years of Kolibri world”. Their celebratory concert will be held on Sunday, 20 May, at 19:00, at the Kombank Hall.
As a special guest and host of the concert, actor Ivan Jevtovic will perform, in whose performance the audience will have the opportunity to hear some of the greatest hits from the repertoire of “Kolibri”, songs that the older generations remember in the performance of Dragan Lakovic. Among them are “Zakleo se bumbar“, “Razbole se lisica“, “Magarence Njako”, “Ivin voz“, “Vuče vuče“, “Moja mašta” and many others.
Besides the songs, the audience recognises the Choir “Kolibri” also by the yellow colour t-shirts in which they perform. It is founded in 1963 by Milica Manojlovic, who has been leading this ensemble for 44 years, introducing to young singers the love towards singing and music in general. At the jubilee concert, the choir will be conducted by Ljiljana Randjelovic, who successfully cherishes a noticeable singing culture and appealing interpretation, by which “Kolibri” was and remains recognisable in our country and in the world.
